A chicken is a bird that was originally discovered in Southeast Asia and is a popular source of food, whether it be their meat and/or eggs. Some are kept as pets for cockfighting (haha I get it). Chickens are very commonly known and many references appear to them throughout. Males are called cocks/roosters, and females are called hens They are identifiable by their unique face and figure, specifically their combs (the red part on their heads) and their beaks, in addition to its short feet, almost unusable wings, and its small eyes.
